Went along with a friend last night as their +1 to an evening event at one of the #MeijiShrine’s newer buildings for the city of #Lyon to promote their @onlylyon #onlylyon campaign in Japan. With a speech by Ambassador Laurent Pic, fantastic wines (naturellement), and interesting food mixing French & Japanese techniques and ingredients. Menu was overseen by Michelin-starred @Guy.Lassausaie Restaurant Lassausaie Guy, with chef #ChristophePaucod, restaurant @Lugdunum_Bouchon_Lyonnais Tokyo, & Osaka chef Osamu Ogusu, from @Le_Pont_de_Ciel.
An #Onsenegg with confit of pork, & a sesame dressing.
A hearty chunky terrine en croute, served with extra aspic pieces.
Had to dash to sleep with a very early 4am start today making sourdough for today’s class in Tokyo.
