Today was my popup marmalade afternoon tea salon at Three Tiers in #Meguro #Tokyo #Japan, and for it I made two different cakes (house scones were served separately): a black sesame, ginger & carrot cake with a fresh ginger and marmalade syrup soaking into the crumb after it was baked; plus a #mikanorange & lemon drizzle cake served with a little lemon marmalade.

Lots of fun today. Honoured to have Mrs Berry @akasobereiko and Tomoko join us with Kaori Ito from Ataro Japan (who make excellent refractometers for testing sugar levels in preserving).
