Over the past 20 years I’ve had the great pleasure of teaching sourdough classes at the Cookery School on Little Portland Street in central London. Whether you joined as a complete beginner or an experienced baker looking to refine your skills, thank you for being part of it.
Together we mixed, folded, and baked thousands of loaves, explored the craft of sourdough starters, and shared tips drawn from my 35 years of baking. Each class was filled with wonderful people, stirring conversation, and the thrill of freshly baked bread straight from the oven.
As I now bring this chapter of teaching to a close, I want to thank everyone who came along for their enthusiasm and generosity. It’s been a joy to share these days with you, and time now, at last, for a rest. I’ll be back to teaching one day I’m sure.
