Pizza night: we though we were being exceptionally brave while #stormdennis raged by going to @tootingmarket and broadway market last night, and then discovered hundreds of other people were there already partying the rain away. Our niece Min was down from Suffolk to stay, so hubby @whitehouseofwhitehouse said “let’s go to @francomancapizza”. Rather good sourdough pizza, my friend @michael.bakerman helped them develop many moons ago, honestly hadn’t been to FM since it opened in Brixton all those years ago. Washed down with David’s choice: a bottle of excellent fermentazione naturale sicilia vino rosso 2018. Then we moved on a few doors down to broadway market, and I liked the look of @hennys_wine, and again hubby David a great little number: a Portuguese dao colheita tinto titular. Then Min’s dad who lives in Connecticut USA sent us a pic of his favourite local @bar_newhaven pizza: dazzlingly topped with mashed potato ???? bacon ???? salt and pepper (maybe cheese ???? ) in fact @bar_newhaven also do a #bigmacpizza, do want to try that one day…
