Old favourite day: David @whitehouseofwhitehouse made chocolate brownies, pretty straight-up with a mix of milk and dark chocolate (a @sweetbigbessie trick to get the chocolateyness just dandy), and some white choc and hazelnuts stirred through. A generous glug of espresso and brandy to both perk and soothe it, and baked until crisp at the edges (surely the best bit) and just set in the middle (for those middle-brownie lovers).
