Made American-style banana pudding, but had to improvise as I didn’t have the “right” ingredients – made butter cookies, made “condensed milk” by boiling together mascarpone & sugar – result was off-regulation but tasted heavenly.
For the butter cookies used my 2012 basque butter cookie recipe from @guardianfeast . To find it google – dan lepard basque butter biscuits – and it should be at or near the top of the search results.
I heavily adapted @carlaphall’s recipe on @grandbabycakes ’s blog, wish I could have made it with the right ingredients but had to work with what I had. Next time, #grandbabycakes!
