Just got back from a screening of Derek Jarman’s ‘Caravaggio’ in a 35mm celluloid @BFI print showing, huge thanks to @spencer__leigh for inviting me, and Dexter Fletcher and Sacha Gervasi for organising it. Hadn’t seen it since it was released in the 80s, I’d photographed Derek, Spencer, Dexter, Tilda and Sean for @vogueitalia when it came out. I’d forgotten how strong the last third of the film is, with Sean Bean, Tilda Swinton, Spencer Leigh and the late Nigel Terry dazzlingly fierce. Also saw the lovely @simon_costin in it, and glimpsed the late #chelitasecunda in a scene, and the #thegreyorganisation @culturaltraffic.
