I’ve been teaching sourdough workshops at @cookeryschoollondon for 14 years (since 2006 so @whitehouseofwhitehouse tells me).
But long before that in the late 1990s I would hold workshops at the old @bakerandspiceuk in #waltonstreetlondon, then in 2000 onward at @cecipaoloshop in #ledbury #herefordshire (where I first met @petercooksbread) then in 2003 at #hopeendhouse with #cecipaolo’s Pat Harrison (pictured here with a much younger me) when we outgrew her kitchen.
The lovely @tamasindaylewis wrote this piece for @telegraphfood 17 years ago in 2003 and, rereading it now, I mostly feel the same way (though my understanding of the dough process is definitely on sounder footing, but hey, we all waffle when we’re younger surely).
