The issue of Australian Gourmet Traveller where my book The Handmade Loaf topped their list of “The 10 baking cookbooks Australia’s top bakers love” still gives me reasons to smile (thanks, by the way, to the talented Alastair Wise at Hobart’s Sweet Envy for his recommendation).

First published in hardback in 2004 and then reissued in a revised softback edition in 2017 by Mitchell Beazley in the UK and Hachette Australia, this utterly essential book is available from Amazon and all good booksellers, and it still deserves the strapline the publishers put on it: “the book that started a baking revolution“.
