Had to disappear up north this week as Bruno had a little old-age health emergency and his fantastic vet @frameandswift is in Penrith Cumbria. So @whitehouseofwhitehouse and I made a mad dash up there, car broke down on the way up (thank you @admiral_insurance_uk @theaa_uk) and the dog-friendly @travelodgeuk where we picnicked on @morrisons fluffy buns and ham hocks, jammy doughnuts and chocolate eclairs. Called in to lovely @dalemainmansion to say hello, and went for a lovely walk at @lowther_castle’s great park. Bruno has probably entered a different time of life., he has moments of high energy and other times when he just needs to be in a quiet place. He’s eleven, so in Staffordshire Bull Terrier years that’s a great age. He’s getting lots of treats, walks when he wants them, and an extreme number of cuddles. We’ll probably get him a little ramp for the bed as jumping up is a little hard for him now. But when he’s happy then we’re happy 👬🐕
