Had a brilliant dinner with Paul @bellytimber (who prepchefs in the kitchen at @kilnsoho) and his Japanese partner Mina @okosho (who’d only just got better after an intense illness), and hubby David @whitehouseofwhitehouse, Italian menu with lots of talk about Japanese life and rules, learned so much. Had some brilliant salami Paul bought back from Venice with (I’ll use hashtags for anyone unfamiliar with these dishes) #antipasti, #frittomisto, #farro salad, grilled aubergines very thinly sliced, #porchetta rubbed with fennel pollen inside (porchetta is huge in Australia and the US, here in England it’s not so known much), and finished with #claudiaroden’s boiled orange cake (thought of you @pique_nique). All washed down with great bubbly and #naturalwine
