Created this new halva & dark chocolate panettone this week, with a sesame almond crust. Flavoured with orange oil, french almond extract and @eurovanille vanilla bean infusion (more on that later), with butter, honey and egg yolk giving it a very rich flavour, giant chunks of halva and @valrhonauk through the dough, and surprisingly still very panettone’y. With lovely golden @clarence_court egg yolks and #AlNakhil Lebanese #halva you get delicious #halvapanettone (or even, as @veldkeuken_bakkerij just suggested, #halvattone!) p.s there are many fantastic halva producers around the world right now, like @hebelandco @seedandmill @halvakingdom @achvafood @adakhelva1956 …let me know if you have a favourite
