Beautiful lunch last Monday at chef patron Annie @kittensmithers’s #dufermiertrentham @du_fermier in Victoria. Spankingly fresh cooking, with Annie at the stove pretty much alone cooking in the kitchen (save for a handsome moustached chap lending a hand), such immediacy to the food served, with a sense that the menu truly was comprised of what was best that day. Went with my (nearly) 90 year old mum, who now wants to have her celebration next March up there. Do go, fantastic cooking. And that apple clafoutis with Armagnac ice cream, sizzling perfection.
