An #ad to show support for our friends in Japan getting ready with the annual citrus harvest on the terraced mountains sourrounding the city of #八幡浜市 #Yawatahama #愛媛県 #Ehime on the beautiful island of #四国 #Shikoku. The video is all thanks to @daisuki.maanamikan and shows the picking and packing of mikan satsuma fruit, from tree to box.
Very early next year the 2020 @yawatahama_marmalade_festival competition will be launched in collaboration with @marmaladeawards @dalemainmansion, all thanks to our sponsors like the lovely @japanairlines_jal, who make travel to all corners of Japan so quick and easy (I mean that, always delight to fly JAL), the truly dazzling @Fortnums of London, as well as Japan’s Aohata Corporation #aohatajamdeck, home of Marmalade in Japan since the 1920s (and founder of #kewpiemayo, no less!).
Now also…I really want you all to come and join me in Yawatahama next May 2020, not just to see the marmalade festival but also to go on fishing trips, learn new knife skills and cooking techniques with the freshest seafood imaginable, prepare impeccable rice, go cycling and hiking, and so much more. The brilliant @japanairlines_jal makes travel very simple, but as you might have already heard Japan is a country where everything is done to help you enjoy yourself. I post more about how you can join us very soon.
I’m not paid to post this but we work together with the City of Yawatahama raising money for those farmers affected by the typhoons that devastated many Japanese citrus farms.
