A champion evening for the @yawatahama_marmalade_festival @marmaladeawards @dalemainmansion with all the major businesses in Ehime who have contributed to the success of this week’s international celebration of Japanese citrus fruit with the first #marmaladefestivaljapan.

I mean.…where else in the world will you get nuclear power plant workers standing up next to supermarket buyers singing and clapping to a marmalade song…sung in Japanese by three home marmalade makers on stage with the mayor: who I must add wears orange converse trainers and dances like his feet have no desire to stop – leading everyone.

Yep, our hearts skipped a beat, never ever ever has I seen such unbridled joy about #happymarmalade in the business world, and affection shown towards the families and individuals who have taken this marmalade making to their hearts.
