Had an intense but fun day with our last hands-on sourdough class for 2018 at @cookeryschoollondon, the next one is 3rd February 2019. Part of the joy is to be working together with a group of people from different starting places, some utter beginners to baking and others experienced as home cooks, bakers and chefs, all sharing their ideas, fears and successes with each other, creating bread with the encouragement of us all. You go from the ideas you have alone in your kitchen to this place where we’re all with you for the same goal. And that’s the best part of the class. You leave with a stack of your own bread, sourdough starter, flours, dough scraper, class notes and a sense of accomplishment in what you’ve achieved. It’s a top day, join us next year.
