Q. I go to your website and all I can see is black text, with no pictures except for little red crosses in boxes?
A. I think the problem you have is caused by Norton Internet Security, and I suspect this could be a firewall issue. My website includes a type of page coding known as Java, and Norton can block this stopping the page from correctly loading. To read more about how other sites are blocked, you can go to http://www.phoenix360.com/help/norton-issue-resolve.html
But for help from the source, go to Symantec:
Go to:
http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/consumer.html
Go to the free online support option 2 (the second box)
And select:
1. Norton Internet Security
2. Your version
and then click 'knowledge base'
Type in (or cut and paste) the following number into the search box:
2000031311301136
Select 'all the words'
Select 'Norton Internet Security Knowledge Base'
And then click the yellow search button to the left.
This will bring up a link to a document entitled:
'Cannot see all of a Web page when Norton Internet Security or Norton
Personal Firewall is installed '
Click this link and work through the recommendations for
1. Customize security settings
2. Web rules
3. Make Web pages load faster
If you give www.danlepard.com all permissions, this should resolve the problem.
Hope this helps.
