employment

The best bakeries constantly face the problem of how to attract the right staff, while in the absence of a trade publication dedicated to the 'craft' or 'artisanal' sector, skilled bakers who might be considering a move have found it difficult to know where the best employment opportunities might be. This applies not just in the UK, but internationally, and with skilled bakers sought after on a worldwide basis, our hope is that this page will become an international reference point for the best jobs in baking.

If you are thinking of changing jobs, we hope you'll find what you are looking for on this page, but please note that we cannot provide you with assistance in job hunting, and your job application should be sent to the advertiser, not to us. When replying to a job ad, please note that while we require advertisers to confirm that vacancies are as advertised, you do need to make appropriate checks yourself; please let us know if you have any problems with a job advertised here.

If you would like to advertise on this site, please follow this link for our rates and standard Terms & Conditions.

For the time being, we will only carry ads which offer paid employment (not courses, or unpaid studentships or apprentice schemes); we are happy to carry recruitment advertising for bakers, pastry chefs, bakery managers and related occupations, and we believe that your ad will reach the best artisan bakers around the world, who read this site; and the people you want to recruit are likely to look here first, especially when they might be considering a move.
