I’ll be teaching more hands-on sourdough bread making classes at The Cookery School, Little Portland Street (off Oxford Circus) London in 2017. The list of dates has been confirmed as:

It’s a great day, not just for the teaching, but also for the chance to be with like-minded sourdough bakers, chefs and even first-timers, all learning, asking questions and exchanging ideas. People tell me they love the class, not just for the recipes, comprehensive baking notes and amazing loaves they make and take home, but because it’s usually held on a Saturday or Sunday, so they don’t have to take time off work… But if you have family commitments, and find that your weekends are always busy, we will be running some weekday events later in the year. We ask you to arrive by 8.45am for tea, coffee and a light breakfast, as classes start at 9.00am sharp and run till approximately 4.30pm. We’ll look at different aspects of sourdough baking, covering everything from making and keeping a healthy sourdough starter through to the finished loaves coming out of the oven, and work together on how to create that perfect result. There is also time to talk about your own baking with me, either over the traditional Cookery School lunch, or at the end of the day, and to tackle any sourdough problems you may be having.
These classes are equally suitable for an enthusiastic beginner or a passionate breadmaker with some experience of sourdough baking who wants to refine and develop their skills, and we try to provide a fairly full day of practical baking tuition, tailored to the needs of each class. The location is not wheelchair accessible (one flight of stairs) and the class size is limited to 14 people.
